How to Become an LIC Agent

Schedule an appointment with the Development Officer. The Development Officer is an authorized person who can appoint LIC agents. You can find the contact information for the Development Officer in your area on the LIC website.
Submit the required forms and documents. The required forms and documents may vary depending on your location, but they will typically include a copy of your identification, proof of residence, and educational qualifications. You will also need to pay a registration fee.
Take the Pre-Licensing Examination. The Pre-Licensing Examination is a multiple-choice exam that tests your knowledge of life insurance and other financial products. You must pass the exam with a score of at least 35% in order to become an LIC agent.
Complete the training. Once you have passed the Pre-Licensing Examination, you will be required to complete a 25-hour training program. The training program will cover all aspects of life insurance, including product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.

Can I Become An Adviser/Agent?
